Not “White” BE CAREFUL

I think we are all aware that Dementia Don pulled the whole B2 thing to divert from the disaster he has created in the U.S. The branches of this disgusting manoeuvre is chilling.

T.A.C.O. Trump, the tyrant has already enabled the racists and all other bottom dwellers, to rise up and inflict their rot on every day Americans. This move will embolden them, even further.

Due to the deplorable state of the American education system, much of the U.S. couldn’t find Iran on a map, let alone understand the intricacies of her culture. Identify someone from Iran? Anyone not suffering from melanin deprivation, will become a target of hate (more than usual).

The world has watched the Jan. 6th insurrectionists don ICE uniforms and face masks (the same masks they railed against during the pandemic because CO₂ or some such nonsense) zip tie children, kidnap innocent people off the streets and accuse aboriginal (Native) Americans of being illegal immigrants…such is their level of intelligence. I would harbour a guess and say that their collective I.Q. is 3 and it takes 2 to bark…

It is a dangerous, dangerous time to not sport glow-in-the-dark freckled skin in the United States. Please, dear friends, dear neighbours, be careful. Do not go out alone. Invest in a ring doorbell and use it, do not answer your door, to strangers. I know, most of you have employed these safety methods already but encourage friends, co-workers, neighbours to do the same. Don’t underestimate the racist threats to your families and yourselves. The words, “Sleeper Cells”, “Terrorists” are already appearing in the rags, online and otherwise, of the racist right, don’t dismiss this as just the nutbars – Diaper Don has normalized racism, normalized racist propaganda and will continue to divert the American people from the tanking of the economy, the Billionaire Bonus Bill and the grassroot rise of protests against his regime.

Be safe. Be careful.

ELDEN RING: NIGHT REIGN FOR NEWBS

https://www.facebook.com/groups/722217140761840

I have created a group on the Book of Faces 😉 for all the Nightreign newbs out there who may be throwing up their hands in frustration (hopefully AFTER putting down controllers or walking away from computers..). I have investigated groups and I’ve found the inevitable freaking Edgelords, you know the ones…hiding personal fragility behind, what they feel, are pithy comments, offering no help, just insults.

I mentioned in another blog post, I play solo. I play all my games solo; with the exception of Diablo IV where I will play with a couple of close friends/family. I can’t dedicate time to teams, I never know when I will be online. I also, LONG AGO, gave up on the “mike-ing” my games due to the behaviours I have encountered over the years – racists, misogynists, teenage wannabe-edgelords, burping, farting…I just don’t have the time or the patience for it.

Nightreign presents some real challenges for folks who prefer solo play; I’m researching, it can be done but it is a far more difficult than team play. In all honesty, if I had to rate myself on sucking at a game? A scale of 1 – 10 with 10 being the most suckage? I’m a 15. The game needs some dedication and the past couple of weeks haven’t afforded me that time, but I have researched some of the the sites that offer help and tips. I am hoping membership increases enough so that a helpful community will be created, for solo and teams. Feel free to join, I’ll be monitoring the group pretty heavily, in order to ensure safety and a positive environment. It is public, for now.

Elden Ring Nightreign

https://en.bandainamcoent.eu/elden-ring/news/how-play-elden-ring-nightreign-solo-player

Disappointed and kind of pissed; yes – you can play Nightreign solo but it is a real pain in the butt; it is frustrating and way more aggravating than a “game” should be. Elden Ring was completely playable solo and that’s how I play – solo. I play for fun, for personal challenge, as an escape from reality but primarily for FUN. Nightreign, for me, is not fun. Yes, I’ll keep playing but probably not with any regularity and I sure, as hell, am not going to recommend it.

I play on the PS5 system, graphics are good, the mechanics are fairly easy but the options for solo play leave much to be desired. You need to embark on expeditions, there’s no wandering around, discovering areas first, as far as I can tell. You absolutely have to embark on the assigned expeditions. There are some days where I just want to wander around a game’s layout but that’s not possible with this game. I am not loving the “expeditions”. Frustrating, even aggravating. Not the escape I had hoped, it is, so far, just a headache in the making. I’m finding it difficult to get invested in the story.

It could be that I’m simply not used to the style Bandai has created for the game. I’ll keep playing, maybe I am missing something.

The game is great for folks that enjoy the team play experience but for solo players, for me? So far, it sucks.

War Pigs and the Fortunate Sons and Daughters;

Epidemic of Bone Spurs in the Works?

Middle East: I heard some Trumpian dickhead blather that they would have “boots on the ground” and Hegseth, the incompetent and rumoured drunk/molester, dribble something about “assets in the Middle East”. Personally, I think he watched the Bourne movies once too often.

I am a late stage Boomer; WWII had been over for almost 15 years, the Korean conflict had ended over 5 years previous to my birth but, in 1965, Johnson started to send soldiers to a country, over 13 800 kms (apox. 8500 miles for U.S. folk). No direct threat to the U.S. but took the lives of 58 200 of American youth. This was the conflict, in which, Trump was ordered to serve but as is the family legacy, the Trump tail was tucked between the legs and suddenly, there were “bone spurs”.

I remember Vietnam, first war to be broadcast into our living/family rooms. Over the next decade, I met a few of the resisters, who had fled to Canada. They weren’t deserters, they were resisters. Refusing to fight a war that did not threaten their country, in any way, shape or form.

There is no draft per se, anymore; there is, however the mandatory Selective Service mandate (I wonder if Barron registered…) So the middle, working, and impoverished classes are still in danger of being called up and sent to the Middle East to fight in yet another military action with no impact on America. To fight in yet another “created” action.

Created, once again, by Netanyahu. Big surprise. (🙄).

Here’s the timeline;

Friday, June 13, 2025 — Israel launches blistering attacks on the heart of Iran’s nuclear and military structure, deploying warplanes and drones previously smuggled into the country to assault key facilities and kill top generals and scientists.

Saturday, June 14, 2025 — Israel expands its airstrikes to include targets in Iran’s energy industry as Iranian missile and drone attacks continue on Israel.

Sunday, June 15, 2025 — Israel unleashes airstrikes across Iran for a third day and threatens even greater force as some Iranian missiles evade Israeli air defenses to strike buildings in the heart of the country. Planned talks on Iran’s nuclear program in Oman between the United States and Tehran, which could provide an off-ramp, are called off.

Lots of breast beating about nuclear capabilities of Iran…yes, I would be concerned about a country as volatile as Iran having nuclear capabilities but I am equally as concerned by Israel, India, Pakistan, North Korea, and Russia (frankly, with Dementia Don in charge, I am concerned about the U.S. as well) possessing nuclear weapons.

Be prepared, young Americans, to head north. I have a couple of spare rooms. Sadly, I am not being facetious.

Blankie

Daily writing prompt
What’s the oldest thing you own that you still use daily?

Yeah, I still have a “blankie”. I put it on my side of the bed, every night. It is, in excess, of 60 years old and belonged to my grandmother. Why? Well, my grandmother was an amazing, loving and hysterically funny Newfoundland woman. She always had cherry Chiclets in her pocket for me, hugs and kisses were never ending. It was an absolute unconditional love. Lost her when I was 15. Still feel that loss.

Husband is a truckdriver, he does stay within our province but has to leave at 2:00 am, for his run, the blanket is my security. It is my continued connection to my Nanny Mary.

The Fall of the American Empire

We are watching it, in real time.

I have to confess, I have been anti-American government since the early 1970’s. As a Canadian and having a Dad who was a news junkie, I was exposed to American media and propaganda from an early age. I watched the Vietnam war, watched the riots, watched the National Guard shoot down innocent students, protesting a criminal war, Stonewall. The list goes one.

None of this is to say, Canada didn’t have its own share of civil unrest. FLQ and the Oka crisis come to mind.

I saw and actually made friends with young folks fleeing the draft. Leaving their homes, their families, their friends, in protest over risking their lives, in a foreign land that posed, absolutely, no threat to the U.S. Instead, it was a ruse to improve corporate profits.

The U.S. realized, during WWII, the Korean conflict, Vietnam that war was a great way to enrich that 1%. Easy money. Easy blood money, because you best believe few of the offspring of that 1% fought. Case in point: president Bon Spur.

I was so happy to see Barack Obama win in 2009. I truly thought that there was hope for the U.S. Then he was re-elected and I thought, for sure, this meant the U.S. was heading toward a successful future…I was sorely disappointed.

I knew, early on, that I did not want Canada to mirror the U.S. I wanted Canada to be better, to welcome diversity and inclusion. We have our own culture Nazis – most in Alberta and my own province of Québec. Behaving as if their own ancestors simply popped out of Canadian soil…Spoiler Alert! They didn’t.

I don’t buy “American” and rarely, ever did. Not a difficult thing, as most goods, thanks to American corporate greed, once again (cheap labour and materials), are not made in the U.S.

I don’t vacation in the States. For the past 30 years – since ’95, when we did vacation, it was here, in Canada or Cuba.

The U.S. is bound to implode, not due to diversity or inclusion. Not due to immigration but due to corporations that run that nation. People go bankrupt for the want of healthcare. Rights of workers to a balanced life. The overt racism. And again, the move of manufacturing from the U.S. to foreign lands where workers were cheap and would have no protection from exploitation, augured the demise of their economy. They are dependent on foreign lands yet, Dementia Donald felt it necessary to further tax the American people, through tariffs. Either he has no understanding of how they work or he is relying on the ignorance of his base supporters to further the nonsense that tariffs are paid by trading partners to the U.S. THAT. IS. NOT. HOW TARIFFS WORK!! The buyer pays the tariffs, not the importer, the costs are, then, passed down to the consumer.

Canada has long needed to move away from American dependence. We can import our own goods from the nations manufacturing those goods, instead of the American-Middleman economy.

As for national defense? Defense against whom? The only enemies to our sovereignty currently, is Putin and his sock puppet, Diaper Don. We will build our military, we will maintain and foster our alliance with Europe, with Asia.

American propaganda needs to be fought, at grassroots level. https://www.nokings.org/

They are not the global leaders they claim to be. It is propaganda. They are a nation in debt, a nation that has lost its identity and worse, the respect of the world. By the way? This song came out in 1970….

Los Angeles Protesters; Please stay safe!

I wish I had more time for this blog but I have to go out into “public”….A Public free of Taco, the orange dementia-diapered dictator.

Please, folks in L.A., stay safe! This calling in of the National Guard without the state or city’s request is unlawful and against the constitution. People in my age bracket and older, remember Kent State. It only takes one idiot to start and ordinary citizens, protesting the pseudo-Nazi regime, will die.

Stay safe!

I Have T-shirts Older and With More Experience Than Fulgate…

Amurica? Meet your new anti-terror chief; 22 year old, (Yes, you read that right…22) Thomas Fulgate.

To his credit, he did mow his neighbours’ lawns as an “entrepreneur” but don’t listen to me, thankfully, Sarah Rumpf, an Associate Editor @ Mediaite.com wrote an excellent piece with receipts. Those receipts have “mysteriously” disappeared from LinkedIn. 🤣🤣 (I have them saved..)

Take a look, she’s a terrific journalist and the article is truly a good one.

Keep in mind, he has been picked to replace US Army veteran Bill Braniff. Braniff resigned last March after the Trump admin. cut over 20% of his staff. Braniff holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy and a Masters from Johns Hopkins but Fulgate did mow lawns and bag groceries, I guess that proves he is all Sigma. 🤣

Don’t get me wrong, this is not ageism. I have worked with Gen Z’s and quite a few of them have new, innovative ways to streamline processes, they often bring bubble and optimism but…we were not responsible for the safety and security of millions of men, women and children.

Be afraid United States, be very afraid. Dementia Don is now, the least of your worries.

Why is Pride Month Necessary?

Why that asinine question still being asked is more of the point of Pride Month than “Why is it necessary!?”

It is necessary because that dumbass question is still being asked, usually with the addition of “Why isn’t there a straight month?!” There are….the other 11 months out of the year.

Let’s see here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_acts_of_violence_against_LGBTQ_people

Couldn’t find anything about people being murdered for the sole reason of being straight.

I see videos of “religious” 🤢 leaders claiming homosexuality is an abomination yet are perfectly okay with a woman being beaten, raped and otherwise subjugated by their husbands. Presumably these “leaders” are straight, when they aren’t being busted for pedophilia and child molestation.

🌈 Actually, homosexuality is illegal in quite a few countries, the penalty in some, is death.

https://features.hrw.org/features/features/lgbt_laws/

I’m a late “Boomer” and homosexuality was not discussed in my home. It just wasn’t discussed, negative or positively. So I grew up never hearing the usual slurs. I am NOT saying my parents didn’t hold negative beliefs regarding homosexuality, it just wasn’t discussed, for that matter sexuality as a whole was not discussed. I had gay teachers in high school, I knew they were gay, my friends knew they were gay but it wasn’t an issue. It was a nothing-burger.

I learned more about the community, as an outsider, through a couple of nightclubs we would frequent. It was my first introduction to the trans world as well. The only emotion I can remember was intense jealousy of their mastery of make-up. I still have that jealousy….I mean…MY GOD…the talent is mind-blowing.

To this day, and I’ve had 24400+ days, not understanding what possible difference it makes to anyone. I don’t understand how we can allow our children to suffer and die because they are gay, transgender or bisexual. Personally, all I ever wanted for my own children is that they grew up and were happy in their skins.

The question was asked, a few times, how would YOU feel if one of your kids were gay/transgender…always kind of left me with my mouth open (metaphorically). How would I feel? Possibly the most inane question I have ever been asked…

🌈 I would feel afraid for them because of the ignoramuses they may meet, like the person posing the question.

🌈 I would love them.

So damn…YES, celebrate Pride Month. Stand against religious idiocy and prejudice. Support the community because members of that community, your family, friends, co-workers, neighbours are still being beaten, ostracized, punished and murdered for who they love.
