BUYING CANADIAN FOR HALLOWEEN/SAMHAIN

No, it is not too early. Consider the prices out there, stocking up ahead of the game is the best way to go. I REFUSE to buy American – I’m sorry to Americans who hate Yam Tits and his bootlicking titties, but buying anything American is simply not in the cards.

So, doing some research into any candy that is not manufactured in the U.S. Hershey is not the epitome of confectionaries.

Here are a few;

  1. Canada Candy Company:
  1. iSweet.ca:
  1. Kerr’s Candy:
  1. Ganong Chocolates:

There is also Cadbury. Cadbury creates a conundrum as they were bought out by Mondelez International…yeah, Amurican….Cadbury’s head office is still in the U.K. So, up to you if this is arm’s length enough. I am not sure yet.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mondelez_International

I used to make candy for Halloween but we get over 250 kids on average, that night, currently. I just don’t have that kind of energy anymore. I would love to do this, the homes that gave us homemade treats were always my favourite as a child, but the time required for the amount and the cost of ingredients? I don’t think it is feasible. But hey, if you don’t get many kids, this is a tasty alternate, I would suggest an ingredient list be attached, allergies etc.

I would LOVE to be able to give out Purity ( https://purity.nf.ca/confectionery/ ), a Newfoundland company but the shipping costs? I would have to mortgage my house….

If anyone has any other suggestions? Please post here and give a girl, a hand!

Child Predators

You can’t. Sometimes, until it is too late.

On the Book of Faces, in a local community group; an incident occurred and man, triggered some trauma.

I have 3 sons. Folks think that the danger is lessened when you have boys; folks would be wrong.

We had a pedophile teacher who was later, promoted to principal of 2 DIFFERENT local elementary schools and even though concerns/complaints were raised, he was either promoted or moved to keep things hush-hush (à la molesting clergy method) to a vice-principal position in a local high school, where…he was busted for downloading child porn. His case is unreal, talk about a failure of the system…

https://globalnews.ca/news/109951/convicted-pedophile-to-be-released/

The news article mentions one elementary school; he ended up molesting children in 3 ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS, in one as a teacher and 2 as a principal. My sons were in 2 of those schools…

One summer evening, one of my sons was outside of our home, with his friends, playing baseball. A man walked up (my son was about 16 or so at the time, played hockey, football (O line) and rugby; not a slight young man. He looked like he could turn you into a pretzel with one arm.

The man seemed rather odd – asked to watch the game. These were all good boys, friendly, helpful, oh for sure, they could be…up to stuff but by and large, they were terrific kids. They didn’t see an issue and let the guy hang around. Well, he seem to develop some sort of attachment, instantaneously, to my son. The game ended and the guy continued to hang around. My son wasn’t comfortable and told the guy he was going in the house, guy tried to follow him in…yeah, not happening.

Well, this guy kept showing up. He was told that enough was enough and he had to stop hanging around; he was creeping everyone out.

We went out shopping one Saturday and when we came home, our next door neighbours advised us that “some guy” had tried to break into our basement. They confronted him and he left. It was the strange man; he was stalking my son. Police were called. He was warned but didn’t listen. He kept returning to the house, he was seen around the high school (2 blocks from our home). Police were called again and he was arrested, this time. He was held on some sort of mental health mandate and sent to the Philipe-Pinel Institute, in Montréal, for observation.

Think we were safe? Think again. Phone calls started, multiple phone calls, every single day…the worst saw 33 calls, in 7 hours and FROM THE INSTITUTE!! Then letters….disgusting letters which showed an escalation of his delusions; he was now including my youngest son in his fantasies; my youngest was about 10 years old at the time. I lost my mind; I went to the police, with the letters, with the record of the phone calls and new charges were laid. We had to go to court.

He was remanded back to the institute. About 6 months later, my son saw him again, near our home. I called the prosecutors office and they informed me, he had been released. No?! Really? Any reason why we weren’t warned? No comment. Just told me if he tries anything to call the police….

I called them anyway. I learned he was sent back to Pinel, I would guess on new charges and he later moved to Toronto.

Talk to your kids. Establish a network of safe neighbours. Have a “code word” whenever someone other than yourself or your significant other is required to pick up your kids, from school or wherever. And of course, never talk to strangers – listen to their inner voice and scream “NO!!” if they feel in danger.

We need better laws to protect our kids.

Gamers?? We aren’t immune to scams…

These are some of the top scams. There are bottom feeders, out there, plying romance scams in the gaming world as well. Stay safe, keep your kids safe, always put in those parental controls if you gamers are the young members in the household.

Not monitoring gaming is the same as leaving your windows and doors wide open, for anyone to enter.

CatFish Channel or Empathy Is Not A Character Flaw

I keep track of the Catfish YouTube Channel and the goings-on in the romance/BitCoin etc. scammer world. The incredible number of people falling victim to scams, primarily online is, frankly, scary.

And after the scam? There is, virtually, nothing that can be done to recover funds, reputation and sense of worth. These garbage wastes of skin move on to new scams, to new victims and it is ESSENTIAL to understand that there is no guilt, no remorse. I often see victims as “How can they live with themselves?!” Quite easily has they do not possess the necessary brain cells operate their daily lives with any sort of integrity.

But, it isn’t just the scammers themselves, it is the passing of judgment of strangers online, family and friends. “How could you (they) be so stupid/gullible?!” Obviously, there are other things going on, loneliness is the primary characteristic although mental illness, dementia and Alzheimer’s are also a factor in some of the cases. It is just so easy to stand back, criticize and ridicule these victims but not so easy to reverse that mirror and look at ourselves. What is missing in our own psyche that makes laughing at these victims so easy to do?

Perhaps instead of being total assholes, sharing information on the avoidance of scammers/fraudsters would be of a lot more assistance than taunts and insults.

I’ve been on social media since before it became known as “social media”; I’ve had romance DMs from the likes of Keanu Reeves, Elon Musk, various C&W musicians (even though I am and have always been a metalhead with an intense dislike for C&W), Brad Pitt, Denzel Washington…poor guys are so lonely and love my profile…🤣🤣🤣. I am fortunate, I have good mental health, I have a sense of self and I am not lonely. I know I am fortunate. It breaks my heart that so many people are not. Most of the scam victims are older, not all but most. Some are desperately lonely, obviously naive and not particularly savvy when it comes to online scammers. They need help, support and a little human caring, not criticism from pompous online keyboard warriors.

Always Listen to Brad 😢

I didn’t listen to Brad, don’t be like me…(That is NOT me in the video…)

I made a BIG MISTAKE on Monday. My roots had grown and it was very noticeable. I decided I needed to change my colour choice, it was Pearl Blonde, except with the effects of a vacation to Cuba, so sea water, sun and then chlorine, there and our own pool (salt water), the hair was all sorts of blonde, grey, dark blonde (natural colour). I didn’t like it much. So? I decided to do what I have done a bajillion times over the decades, something Brad doesn’t like, home box-colour/ bleach. 😱😱 And did I do a skin test? Noooo….that would have been too smart…

It did not go well. First? I have this orangey brass tint on the top of my head and down to, about the top of ear level, then a number of very blonde/platinum shades and the hair is FRIED.

Pretty bad and dumb, right? Oh hang on…I have never had an allergic reaction to hair colour or tattoos (there is a connection, by the way)…..until now.

OMG. My head and face, developed hives after I showered the product out. My usual shampoo. Then my head started to itch, felt like a thousand mosquitoes had bitten and then bitten again. I knew what it was, I have a plethora of allergies and always felt fortunate that my hair colour products weren’t on the list.

Grabbed some Benadryl and “prayed”…yeah, didn’t work – itching continued. Well…my entire head is covered in (ewwww 🤮) scabs. The reaction points are actually weeping. It is beyond gross, depressing and scream inducing. I am now afraid to wash my hair, in case it starts to break off or even worse, fall out. I want to go hide out in my closet with my blankie and never come out.

I am a loyal subscriber to Brad’s social media channels. He’s awesome and so knows his products/applications etc. But? I didn’t listen, I saw the boxes, saw the manufacturer and love won out over common sense and listening to the expert.

ALWAYS LISTEN TO BRAD!!!

Oh Melania, Bad Idea….

https://apnews.com/article/melania-trump-hunter-biden-defamation-epstein-13f022f84d179134ae7db10cd0e41702

Quote from the article: “The statements are false, defamatory and “extremely salacious,” Melania Trump’s lawyer, Alejandro Brito, wrote in a letter to Biden. Biden’s remarks were widely disseminated on social media and reported by media outlets around the world, causing the first lady “to suffer overwhelming financial and reputational harm,” he wrote.”

Lawsuit is, a REALLY bad idea there, Melania. Perhaps if there weren’t so many nekkid and salacious photos of you, readily available, your whole “damaged reputation” might hold some weight but there are and so there’s that.

Oh and then there’s the Einstein visa entry; yeah, pretty sure nobody believes that one, and it could well come up in discovery and as a way of establishing truthfulness. I think if it is proven to be a false entry admission…doesn’t look good for you, regarding your veracity.

IMO, there’s an awful lot of folks out there not holding the best opinion of you and the whole adultery thing (Marla was his legal wife). The tasteless photos, the photos of you and Diaper Don, with Epstein, don’t really bolster your case.

Discovery will be a real popcorn moment for all of us; looking forward to it.

MK-ULTRA & The Allen Memorial

CIA – Ewen Cameron; government sanctioned destruction of lives.

If you weren’t aware of the facts, this could be a brutal Sci-Fi or spy movie horror film. Ewen Cameron and the Allan Memorial.

This is personal. Ewen Cameron, flatly refuse to call him “Doctor”, ran mind control experiments at the Allan Memorial Institute in Montréal funded by the American CIA. Experiments on innocent subjects, suffering from mental illness. Torture. Ewen Cameron and the Allan Memorial practice government, both American and Canadian sanctioned torture on the innocent. They destroyed my cousin David Brown’s life. Left him to live as a shut-in, supported throughout his life by my aunt, Livinia, (Aunt Liv).

He was a kind, sweet man. Another member of my family who always encouraged me to read, giving me books whenever we went by to visit. He was also, brilliant and creative. Before Cameron and MK-Ultra got the murderous claws into him, he had attended Sir George Williams University. He wrote. He was published. He had plans. He had a life. And that was taken away, totally and completely by these criminals.

David had a nervous breakdown in his mid-twenties. The family believe it was because he knew he was gay and in that time frame, it was totally unacceptable, it was believed by the MEDICAL community to be a mental illness. He ended up having a breakdown and the “doctors” recommended the Allan. The day he was admitted was the end of his life, his potential and decades of heartbreak for his mother. She was consumed with guilt, the guilt only a mother can feel; deep, soul destroying, black hole type of guilt.

When the news came out, about MK-Ultra and thereafter when financial settlements were being discussed, my Dad spoke to Aunt Liv about the compensation. She refused, her reason was, that no amount of money would give David back his life; that it was nothing more than blood money.

David died, shut in his room, the only place he felt safe, at the age of 46. He was, for all intents and purposes, murdered by Ewen Cameron, the CIA and both governments, American and Canadian. David was not alone. Justice? Never. Most of the victims are dead. Trust in the government, trust in the medical system? That died with David, on July 1st, 1982. Ironically, Canada Day.

Crypto-Terrestrials Among Us.

Heads Up, The Linked Piece Below, is from Fox Nonsense News.

Do I believe in aliens are interested in us? No. Absolutely not. If a civilization/species is so advanced that intergalactic travel is possible? Why, in the name of whatever, would they visit this planet, rife with idiocy?

If and once again, a big “IF” there are, in fact, crypto-terrestrials living among us? I am relatively sure the ship or whatever, scheduled to be here in November, is carrying out a rescue mission.

“Beam us up, Scotty; there is no intelligent life down here.”

Scam/Fraud Alert – Francis Charron

Ottawa woman accuses husband of ‘love bombing,’ leaving her $300K in debt

Story by Mario Toneguzzi

Browsing the internet or social media will bring about many first-hand accounts of dating and marriage horror stories that would render even the most hopeless romantic a cynic. Here’s one such story.

Christina MacCrimmon of Ottawa claims she was the victim of ‘love bombing’, that left her nearly $300,000 in debt.

“It’s just unimaginable to think that somebody can honestly do what he has done and still be able to live with themselves the next day,” MacCrimmon told CBC News.

How the nightmare unfolded

In the CBC report, MacCrimmon described a whirlwind, two-month romance in which she married Francis Charron, the man she now alleges manipulated her to gain access to her money.

CBC said it has discovered that Charron has also been accused of fraud by multiple people and is facing a number of civil and small claims lawsuits concerning his contracting business.

“He portrayed himself to be that perfect. He found out exactly what I wanted in somebody and then behaved and was that perfect man,” MacCrimmon told CBC about falling head over heels for Charron in November, 2023.

But then her world would unravel. He told her that he likely had brain cancer. They married just two months later on January 21, 2024.

MacCrimmon remembers how she would dance in the kitchen with the supposed love of her life.

“He called it ‘Romance Fridays’ and he’d send me these love songs,” MacCrimmon recalled. “He treated me with such love and devotion, he just had me on this pedestal.”

She alleges he manipulated her into loaning him money by “love bombing” her with affection and compliments, but also by making her feel sorry for him because of his own financial hardships.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, love bombing is a form of psychological and emotional abuse that involves a person going above and beyond for a partner as a manipulation tactic. It looks different for every person, but it usually involves some form of excessive flattery and praise, over-communication of their feelings for you, showering you with unneeded/unwanted gifts, as well as early and intense talks about your future together.

Over the course of their brief two-month relationship, MacCrimmon said she loaned Charron money from her line of credit, allowed him to use her credit card and eventually added him as a supplementary card holder.

“He took everything. This is my whole life, this is my savings. I’m going to be struggling to even retire now,” MacCrimmon explained.

Even worse, she is left with no money to hire an attorney to help her navigate the situation she has ended up in, while police also admit that it will take a long time to investigate this particular scenario.

The financial toll of being tricked by love bombing

Falling prey to a love bomber can be costly for victims who may have lost money, assets and perhaps gained additional debt.

There are several financial warning signs potential victims should pay close attention to in order to prevent a nightmare from unfolding in their lives. Over-the-top gifts may be the first signal, as someone pours out lavish generosity and expects matching generosity in return.

Rushing into making big financial decisions is another huge red flag, especially if a potential victim starts feeling the pressure to share their bank accounts and investments.

Scammers can also start criticizing a victim’s financial independence, with the goal of introducing thoughts into their heads that weaken their financial autonomy. With that comes guilt tripping, as the scammer places doubts on the victim’s spending habits and suggests they are selfish with their money.

If you’re feeling pressured when it comes to anything financial in your relationship, consider why as this may be a red flag. Financial health is highly dependent on the trust you have with the people who have access to your money.

When it comes to finances, having eyes wide open is the best way to protect yourself. Falling prey to anyone who pretends to have feelings for you when they don’t opens the door to a host of risks, from emotional impact to personal and financial safety. Go into any relationship wisely — but especially a financial one.
