I decided these pieces of garbage need their own page. Most of the time, I ignore them, their friend requests or DMs but sometimes? They hit me on a bad day and I get really annoyed. Here is one that sent a friend request today; a real moron. The pic was easy to find. He either blocked me or took his profile was deleted. James William, @james.william651665 is his FB i.d, with the ubiquitous photo of a dog and his status as “widow”.
I know he is a scammer but there are thousands upon thousands of vulnerable, lonely folks out there, falling for this bullshit. “Oh I love you my queen/king”, “We’ll marry as soon as…” and then the demands for money/gift cards begin.
Yes, I know; adults should know better but that comment comes from a secure place and not a place of vulnerability. So, whenever I am hit with one of these requests, going forward? I am going to investigate and post.
